About Me

After graduating from high school in 2009, I earned my stripes and followed the family footsteps to Clemson University.  As a college student God immediately surrounded me with a body of believers and quickly led me to become a part of the BCM leadership team and lead a life community bible study.  At Clemson I am also a member of the water ski team and found my nitch sophomore year as a Visual Arts major.
I grew up in Johns Creek Baptist Church, and am blessed to have a loving church family with relationships that have stayed strong throughout my college experience. I owe the many leaders and mentors in my church for their love and investment in my life. Their constant teaching and support helped me grow as a young believer and they still disciple me in my walk with our Creator today.
As a teenager I became involved in YMCA Camp High Harbour and dove head first into their leadership program.  Here I learned how to be a servant leader and to teach the person and character of Jesus Christ to others. Camp quickly became my passion in life and is where I discovered my calling as a servant to minister and disciple youth.  The eight years I spent at camp were filled with memories and relationships that will last a lifetime. The people who I looked up to and who mentored me instilled the virtues of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and also shaped me into the servant of Jesus Christ that I strive to be today.
During high school I found the sport of Cross Country along with the many blessings that accompanied it. My teammates quickly became friends as close as family.  They were incredible role models that guided me through my early high school career.  Cross Country taught me the value of being a team player and the importance of depending on others.  Through out the years our coach instilled the significance of hard work dedication and the everlasting phrase of “Be where your suppose to be, when you suppose to be there!”.
Wherever my walk with God takes me in this life I will always remain my parent’s child.  They undoubtedly raised me to be the person I am today, teaching me to always do what is right and to have a servants heart.  Along with his name I inherited many of my dads traits from his stunningly good looks (but not his vanishing hair line), boldness about the gospel, work ethic, artistic talent, desire to lead, a strong passion to minister to youth, and ability to stand up for your beliefs.  My mother blessed me with boundless love, deep dedication and daily doses of encouragement.  These ingredients have created in me a desire to wait patiently and eagerly on Gods calling in my life, knowing that if I am following Him today He has a plan for tomorrow.
